Each worship service at Unity is intended to help us encounter the living God—the Father, his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that this happens best through singing, prayer, Bible reading, a message, and offering our gifts. These connect us to God and renew our faith in him.

Each week, you’ll find that many aspects of worship are very similar:

• We believe that God speaks to his people through the Bible and through a message that applies the Bible to our lives.
• God invites us to offer our prayers and so we spend time in each service praying for each other, for the church, our nation and the world.
• The songs we sing each week are a blend of older and newer songs. Some are led by a praise team with piano, guitar and drums and others may be led by an organ. We trust that this variety of songs will enable young and old alike to sing songs that are meaningful to them and bring glory to God.
• We respond to God in worship by offering him our gifts.  Each week, we receive an offering for a specific ministry so that the church can continue to grow and serve in the world.
• The sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper are given to us by God to strengthen our faith.  When believing parents bring their children to be baptized or when adults who have never been baptized come to be baptized, we witness those baptisms in worship.  We also celebrate the Lord’s Supper or Communion several times a year.
